Compost Give Back Program

To celebrate International Composting Awareness Week (3–9 May 2026), Council is inviting local schools and community groups to apply for a chance to receive free compost for gardens, outdoor learning spaces, landscaping, or revegetation projects, made from our kerbside Food and Garden Organics (FOGO) collection.

Who can apply?

• Schools and early‑learning centres
• Community and not‑for‑profit groups
• Community gardens and environmental groups

Projects must be located within the municipality.

Ready to apply? Complete the Expression of Interest form by 12:00 noon Friday May 29 and help turn food scraps into a resource that benefits our whole community.
