Amplify is a program for young people aged 12–25 across Victoria. Through 61 local committees, young people plan and run all-ages live music and cultural events for their communities.

It has been running since 1997 (originally known as FReeZA) and started so that young people had their own spaces to experience live music. Today, it goes further: young people lead events, learn new skills, and open doors into music and the creative industries.

Events include:

  • Skate Park Jams
  • Battle of the Bands
  • Youth Festivals and music acts

All Amplify events are drug, vape, alcohol & smoke free.

Our Amplify Crew, Spilt Milk help to plan and deliver music, arts, and cultural events.

The Crew is made up of people aged 12 – 25 years who meet regularly to plan youth events. This provides an opportunity to train in the music industry while developing their leadership skills.

We are always on the lookout for new Crew members! If you are interested in getting involved contact our Youth Engagement Officer on 0407 050 548, email: youth@wangaratta.vic.gov.au or click the link below.
