These all require maintenance at some point to help keep users safe.

There is a planned road closure on Cruse Street Wangaratta for the construction of a new roundabout.These works are scheduled from Monday 4 May until early November 2026.Detours will be in place with signage and VMS boards visible.There will be traffic delays during this time.
Traffic management will be in place along Baker Street in Wangaratta for construction works.Works are expected to take place from August until early November 2026.Pedestrian access will be affected during this time.
Scheduled installation works for the Reid Street Pedestrian Operated Signal will commence on Monday 31 August.On Sunday 4 October there will be a full road closure whilst asphalt re-sheeting works are completed. Following these works there will be minor disruptions to traffic, however pedestrian access will be altered for remediation works.
Road works to commence on Ovens Street in Wangaratta on Monday 31 August 2026.The project includes installation of two raised pedestrian crossings, a new centre median and an upgraded school crossing.Temporary traffic changes will be required, including speed reductions, closures, detours and changes to pedestrian access.
Traffic Management will be in place on Canning Road Springhurst for Geotechnical Investigation works.Works are scheduled to be undertaken from 20 September through to 30 October 2026.Minimal impacts for traffic to be expected for the duration of the works.
Road and pedestrian work on Green Street are scheduled to start on Monday 19th October 2026.Traffic management will be in place for the duration of the works with traffic delays, temporary lane closures and pedestrian detours in place.
Traffic management will be in place on the Oxley Flats Road at Hansons Bridge just out of Wangaratta.Works to repair the bridge are scheduled for the 28th to the 30th of October 2026.There will be a half road closure during the day between 8am to 5pm with road fully open at night with speed reductions in place.Traffic delays from 5 to 10 minutes to be expected during this time.
Overhead signage is scheduled to be installed outside 56 Murphy Street in Wangaratta.Pedestrian access will be affected from 9pm Thursday 29 October 2026 with works completed during the night.No traffic disruptions to be experienced during this time.
