We also have over 100km of shared paths and 140km of footpaths. 

These all require maintenance at some point to help keep users safe.

Traffic Management - Worland Road WANGARATTA

Following the closure of Worland Road in Wangaratta for a period of 4 weeks the road is now open with traffic management of 40km/h in place. Installation & upgrade of stormwater & sewer services is now complete. Traffic Management will remain in place for the duration of the remediation works.

Swan Street Road Reconstruction

Rural City of Wangaratta have engaged Wangaratta Excavations to undertake road reconstruction works on Swan Street, Wangaratta. Road closures and detours will be in place.
Prior to works commencing Variable Message Signs (VMS) will advise of road closures.
Construction will commence on site from Wednesday 5 November with expected completion by 15 April 2026.

Traffic Management - Milawa-Bobinawarrah Road MILAWA

Traffic management will be in place for drainage and road works to be undertaken on the Milawa-Bobinawarrah Road in Milawa.
Construction of a swale drain in Church Lane and intersection construction at Tarrango Terrace and the Milawa-Bobinawarah Road, Milawa.
Works are due to commence in early March until mid-May 2026.
Minor traffic delays may be experienced during these works.
