From June 2025, all paid parking in the Wangaratta CBD will be managed through the EasyPark app—a simple and convenient way to pay for parking using your mobile phone.

 

Using EasyPark in Wangaratta

  • Register once and get started immediately

  • Only minimal information required – your mobile number and vehicle registration

  • Start, stop or extend your parking time on the go

  • Only pay for the time you use – no need to overpay

  • No hidden costs or extras

EasyPark offers a faster, more flexible way to manage your parking. You can avoid ticket machines, receive a free reminder 15 minutes before your time expires, and adjust your session directly from your phone.

 

How It Works

  1. Download the EasyPark app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  2. Create an account – simply enter your mobile number and car registration, then link your preferred payment method. No additional personal information is required, and payment details are not stored by EasyPark.

  3. Start your parking session

    • Enter the zone number shown on parking signs or meters (or select it via the app’s map).

    • Choose your end time using the app’s time wheel.

    • Tap Start Parking.

    • You’ll receive a reminder 15 minutes before your time expires.

    • Tap Stop Parking when you leave—you’ll only be charged for the time used.

Bonus: If you start your session before paid parking hours begin, EasyPark automatically starts charging only when payment is required. Likewise, if parking becomes free during your session, EasyPark will stop charging you.

After Parking

At the end of your session, you’ll receive an on-screen receipt. You can also opt to receive receipts via email.
This digital receipt includes all the same details as a physical parking ticket.

 

Important Notes for Wangaratta Drivers

Vouchers are available as an alternative for those who can’t use the app. These are linked to a single vehicle and are available from the Rural City of Wangaratta.

  • Monthly voucher: $15

  • Yearly voucher: $100

  • Vouchers cannot be used in the Co-Store car park.

  • EasyPark cannot be used to pay for parking in free or untimed parking zones.
