Rowan Street is now open to all traffic.Works on the pedestrian bridge are ongoing and will be completed by Tuesday, 12 May. The bridge will open from Wednesday, 13 May with minor works continuing for the remainder of the week.
To celebrate International Composting Awareness Week (3–9 May 2026), Council is inviting local schools and community groups to apply for a chance to receive free compost for gardens, outdoor learning spaces, landscaping, or revegetation projects, made from our kerbside Food and Garden Organics (FOGO) collection.
Projects must be located within the municipality.
Ready to apply? Complete the Expression of Interest form by 12:00 noon Friday May 29 and help turn food scraps into a resource that benefits our whole community.
