The Grit and Resilience Consortium
"Help build a more connected and inclusive Wangaratta"
The Grit and Resilience Consortium is a collective of passionate community members and organisations working together to strengthen social inclusion, connection, and wellbeing across the Rural City of Wangaratta.
Made up of people with lived and living experience, as well as local service providers, advocates, and changemakers, the Consortium plays a key role in identifying local needs, guiding community-led projects, and supporting initiatives that reduce isolation and build a more inclusive community.
Consortium members bring their voices, experience, and knowledge to the table—ensuring that everything the Grit and Resilience Program does is shaped by and for our community.
The membership of the Grit and Resilience Consortium has two types of partners:
- Community partners - includes local community members with a variety of lived and living experiences and reflect our diverse community.
- Organisations - who provide a perspectives on social inclusion, connection and mental health and wellbeing promotion within the Wangaratta Community
