Works within the Road Reserve permits are triggered by activities such as; crossover works, landscaping of nature strips, tree removal and/or tree replacement, barricading around worksites and placement of skip bins on the road reserve.

If your permit is approved, you need to construct the crossover to boxed stage. You will then need to book an inspection with us to check boxing and set up (minimum 24 hours notice).
If your boxing is approved, pour the crossover. After pouring, we will need to inspect the site again to ensure it is compliant. If any issues are identified, these will need to be rectified.
The final step is restoring or establishing the nature strip area.
