Noise Concerns

Ongoing or excessive noise can affect neighbours and the wider community. Council can investigate ongoing noise issues in line with Victorian legislation, including noise from:
  • loud music
  • air conditioners
  • power tools
  • pool pumps
  • other ongoing noise sources

Report a noise

For one-off noise disturbances, such as late-night parties, contact Victoria Police on 13 14 44.

Barking dogs

If a dog is barking excessively, talking to the owner is often the best first step, as they may not be aware of the problem.
