Call for Nominations
The Council's Sport and Recreation Advisory Committee is looking for people with skills, professional backgrounds, and expertise in sport and recreation. We are open to applicants who are dedicated to the importance of strategic planning and management of sport and recreation opportunities for regional towns.
Vacancies on the Committee are now open, and nominations are being sought from people with skills and professional backgrounds in sport and recreation, community engagement, facility management, health and wellness promotion, and event coordination relevant to sports.
We want to hear your ideas on how sport and recreation opportunities within the community may be promoted and improved and have a community sounding board of expertise for the planning, strategic decision-making, and the overall success of our sport and recreation services.
This is an open opportunity for members of the community to nominate to be part of Sport and Recreation Advisory Committee (SRAC) that will advise, challenge, and support the sport and recreation services of Council to be their very best for the community they serve.
