How to apply


Step 1.Download the Position Description 

Ensure you have reviewed the Position Description of the position you are applying for to determine if you have the relevant skills, qualifications and experience.

Step 2.Register on the Aurion self-service portal

If you are an existing user you may simply sign in, alternatively you can create a new account and follow the steps.

Step 3.Apply for the Job

Click on APPLY NOW option and upload your Cover letter, Resume and Responses to Key Selection Criteria

Applications close at 3pm on the listed closing date. Late applications are not accepted.

Step 4.Confirmation 

Once the application has been submitted you will receive an email confirming receipt of your application.  If you do not receive an email confirmation please contact the People & Culture Team on 03 5722 0888 or

Step 5.Shortlisting & Interviews

Short-listed applicants will be invited to attend an interview.  Interviews are conducted by a panel and will be based on the Key Selection Criteria outlined in the Position Description.

Step 6.Pre-employment Screening

All positions with Council require a police check.  Some positions the Applicant may be required to undergo a Working with Children's Check or pre-employment functionality assessment.
