Parking permits and vouchers

Parking Permits

Parking Permits are available for purchase in three designated areas of the CBD.

Permits are sold by the calendar month. They are limited and available for purchase from the 20th of the month prior.

Permit Locations and Costs

  • $113 per month for Undercover Permits
     Parking under the Big W Store at 24 Ford Street, Wangaratta
  • $67 per month for Outdoor Permits
    • 32 Ely Street, Wangaratta or
    • The rear of 90 Murphy Street, Wangaratta

Parking Vouchers

Parking Permits are available if you're unable to use the EasyPark app but wish to park in Paid Parking locations in the CBD.

Parking Vouchers can be purchased directly from the Rural City of Wangaratta Government Centre. 

Vouchers are linked to a single vehicle registration and cannot be shared between vehicles. They must be clearly displayed in your vehicle when parked.

Voucher Options

  • $15 - 1 Month Voucher 

  • $50 - 6 Month Voucher (a saving of $40)

  • $100 - 12 Month Voucher (a saving of $80)

* Vouchers are not valid for use at the Co-Store undercover parking facility, as this is a privately owned carpark.

Step 1.Gather your information

To apply for a parking permit, we will need the following information:

  • The month you want the permit for
  • Type of parking you want (outdoor or under cover)
  • You car registration
  • Name required on the receipt if a Company is using it as a tax deduction

Step 2.Visit us

Come into our Government Centre at 62-68 Ovens Street, Wangaratta. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, EFTPOS or credit card.

Call our Customer Service team on 03 5722 0888. Credit card payments can be made over the phone.
