Arts and Culture Advisory Committee

The Arts and Culture Advisory Committee is a community representative panel of individuals who share a passion about arts, culture, heritage, and events and provide advice to Council on these services.

The committee is made of up of 10 skilled community members, as well as Councillors Dave Fuller and Alison Winters who hold the Arts and Culture portfolio.

Membership terms are three years, with each member able to be nominated for a second three-year term.

Call for Nominations

This is an open opportunity for members of the community to nominate to be part of a dynamic advisory committee that will lead, challenge, and support the creative and cultural services of Council to be their very best for the community they serve. 

ACAC is looking for people with skills and professional backgrounds and expertise in, arts, culture, heritage, events management or events promotion, tourism development, and business. We are open to applicants who are dedicated to the importance of placemaking, through cultural and creative offerings for regional towns. We want to hear your ideas on how these offerings can be improved upon and have a community sounding board of expertise for the planning, strategic decision making and the overall success of our arts and cultural services. 

Vacancies on the Committee are now open and nominations are being sought from people with skills and professional backgrounds in the, arts, culture, heritage, events management and events promotion, tourism development and business.
