Road Reserve / Nature Strip

A road reserve is the area between your property boundary and the road.

You’ll need a permit before carrying out works in a road reserve, including:

  • installing or modifying a crossover
  • landscaping a nature strip
  • removing or replacing a tree
  • placing barricades around a worksite
  • placing a skip bin within the road reserve.
