EasyPark Phishing Scam Warning

On display until 01 December 2026, 12:00 PM

EasyPark has advised that phishing emails and SMS are currently circulating across Australia in their name.

There have been reports of scams targeting parking services, including fake QR codes, text messages and emails.

Residents are reminded to remain vigilant when receiving unsolicited emails and text messages relating to parking payments or outstanding fees.

If you receive one of these messages:

  • Do not reply to the SMS.
  • Do not click on any links contained in the message.
  • Delete the message immediately.

As this scam is being distributed widely to mobile phone users, it may be received regardless of if you have used the EasyPark app or parking meters.

For more information about recognising and reporting scams, visit the Australian Government's Scamwatch website: www.scamwatch.gov.au or the EasyPark website.
