Most on-street parking spaces are metered and cost $1.20 per hour, with a mix of 1-hour, 2-hour and 4-hour time limits available.
There is also free all day parking available within the precinct.
For longer stays, all-day undercover parking is available at the Co-Store, also at the rate of $1.20 per hour.
Parking signs are clearly displayed and indicate the type of parking permitted in each space. It's important to follow these instructions, as parking fines (infringements) may be issued if the conditions on the sign are not met.

If you're unable to use the app, you can purchase a parking voucher directly from the Rural City of Wangaratta Government Centre.

Parking Permits are available for purchase in three designated areas of the CBD.
An Undercover permit is $110 per month and allows for parking under the Big W Store, 24 Ford Street Wangaratta
Outdoor permits are $65 per month and allow for parking at 32 Ely Street or the rear of 90 Murphy Street Wangaratta
Permits are sold by the calendar month. They are limited and available for purchase from the 20th of the month prior.
