Community Grants
The Rural City of Wangaratta’s 2012/13 Major and Minor Community Grants Program provides up to $5,000 for minor grants and up to $25,000 for major grants for not for profit community groups to provide projects beneficial to the community.

Murray to the Mountains Rail Trail
The Murray to the Mountains Rail Trail provides 94km of bitumen sealed trail which links Wangaratta with Beechworth, Myrtleford and Bright. Originally a railway line, the trail is suitable for cycling enthusiasts, wheelchair persons, hikers and walkers to experience the region's spectacular scenery .
