Transfer stations

We run four Transfer Stations so our community can dispose of large items and waste that is not accepted in kerbside bins.

Our Transfer Stations are at Wangaratta, Markwood, Moyhu and Eldorado.

We encourage all customers to separate recyclable items from general waste to reduce waste going to landfill. Recyclable items are also free to dispose of so separating them from your general waste will save you money! You can find a full list of our disposal fees here

drumMUSTER provides a free, easy and environmentally-friendly way of disposing of empty farming chemical containers across rural Australia.  Drums must be triple rinsed with no residue left inside and metal drums must be punctured prior to disposal.

drumMUSTER collect drums from our Wangaratta Transfer Station every Thursday. Please note that appointments need to be made if you have over 50 drums.

Further details on the drumMUSTER initiative, including eligible drums and cleaning standards, can be found here.
