Our purpose-built centre brings together everything families need under one roof. From Maternal and Child Health services to Early Years Learning, Three-Year-Old Kindergarten, and Pre-Prep programs, we provide a seamless journey for children from birth through their early years.

With thoughtfully designed spaces, dedicated educators, and a strong focus on family partnerships, we create an environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn and grow.

Programs

Step 1.Early Years Learning

At Wangaratta Children’s Services Centre, we welcome all children from 6 weeks to 6 years into a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every day is filled with opportunities to learn and grow.

We believe in the power of play-based learning. Play is how children make sense of the world, develop creativity, and build social and emotional skills. Our educators create rich, engaging experiences that encourage curiosity and imagination.

Step 3.Pre-Prep

Victorian Pre-Prep is the transition of Four Year Old Kindergarten into a 30-hour-per-week, play-based learning program for four year olds. This initiative is gradually rolling out across the state from 2025.

From 2026, our centre will offer the full 20 hours of funded Pre-Prep, with 25 hours of funding available for priority families ensuring every child has access to high-quality early learning opportunities.
