Calling all young people for a Bush Boogie

It's time to dust off your dancing boots and prepare for an unforgettable night of fun. With the generous support of Youth Affairs Council Victoria (YACVIC) funding, the Rural City of Wangaratta is thrilled to invite local young people to Bush Boogie - an evening of music, and super cool activities.

DJ Tygress is set to keep the energy high with an eclectic mix of tunes, ensuring a dance floor that's alive and buzzing throughout the night. The Breeze Dancers will be on hand to teach some toe-tapping country style dance moves.

Junkyard Beats transform ordinary household items into musical instruments that create a booty shaking, electric atmosphere that makes you want to get up and move! They are renowned for their high-energy routines that include drumming, body percussion, dance, junk percussion, circus, and hilarious skits.

A photobooth will provide the perfect opportunity to snap and share those memorable moments with friends old and new. Lawn games will give the opportunity to engage in friendly competition and the free feast will ensure that no one goes hungry.

The Rural City of Wangaratta is dedicated to supporting youth initiatives that foster positive community engagement and enjoyment in a safe and inclusive setting. This is a Youth event, but all ages are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. This event is a drug, alcohol, vape, and smoke-free zone.
