RCoW Staff 'Swap Shop'

In December, staff at council participated in a ‘Swap Shop’, which was an opportunity to donate gently used household items like kitchenware, clothes, toys, books, puzzles and more, that they no longer needed, to ‘swap’ with their colleagues in order to reduce ‘fast fashion’.

All items left over at the end of the swap shop week were donated to local op shops.

This event was organised by our motivated internal staff committee, called the ‘Eco Leaders’, who meet every six-weeks to come up with educational information and activities for staff, with an environmentally sustainable twist.
