Calling times will be from 1pm-8:30pm Mon-Fri, Sat: 10am-5pm, Sun: 10am-5pm
Each year, all Victorian councils participate in the Local Government Victoria Community Satisfaction Survey (CSS) to understand how residents perceive the performance of council services and activities.
During June, some residents may receive a phone call inviting them to take part and share their views on Council services and facilities. The survey is anonymous and includes a range of questions designed to understand community perceptions of Council’s performance in delivering important services.
The survey is managed by an independent market research agency, Klein Research with their fieldwork partner, TKW Research.
The survey measures Council on:
- overall performance
- value for money
- community consultation
- community decisions
- sealed local roads
- waste management
- customer service and
- overall council direction
Participation is completely voluntary and confidential. Individual and all responses are confidential and reported in aggregate only.

TKW Research is contacting people using phone numbers sourced from a reputable Australian data provider. These contact details come from publicly available and permission-based sources and are commonly used for research and statistical studies. These sources typically include information individuals have provided in the course of everyday activities, such as registering for services, subscriptions, directories, or other lawful data collection processes. The phone numbers are not drawn from Council databases
Results will be shared in June 2027 and will be featured in our annual report.
