Covid-19 restrictions will ease in Regional Victoria from 11.59pm on Friday, 17 September. For the latest information on our services, follow the link below.
We offer free immunisations to infants and children aged 0 - 5 years old.
Monthly immunisation sessions are held on Tuesday from 9:00am - 11:00am at the Wangaratta Performing Arts and Convention Centre.
We also provide catch-up vaccinations for secondary school students and Influenza vaccinations for all ages (adults and children). The cost of the Influenza vaccination is $20.00.
People over the age of 65 years, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and people suffering some medical conditions may attend free of charge. Please discuss your situation with a nurse on the day.
To comply with COVID-19 social distancing restrictions, you must book in for a immunisation or vaccination session. Only one (1) appointment is required per family.

We also provide a free school based immunisation program in Year 7 for Human Papillomavirus (Gardasil) and Adolescent Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis (Boostrix) and Year 10 for Meningococcal ACWY (Nimenrix).
If you would like to get a copy of your immunisation history, our Environmental Health team will need your name (maiden name if married) and date of birth. We also need contact details such as phone number and email address if you want your history emailed.
We only have the immunisation history from Council run immunisation sessions, so if vaccinations occurred at a doctor’s clinic or at a different Council, you will need to speak with them.
Council will not be travelling to workplaces in 2021 due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation. Workplaces that participated last year will be contacted by Council regarding alternative arrangements and dates available for employees to attend vaccination sessions in 2021.
