Wangaratta Library will host a series of screenings from the Sydney Writers’ Festival Live & Local program from Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 May, giving local audiences access to author talks and discussions from one of Australia’s major literary events.

The four‑day program features sessions with a wide range of writers and thinkers, including Booker Prize–winning authors Yann Martel and Roddy Doyle, writer Trent Dalton, and food writer and cook Stephanie Alexander, alongside conversations exploring literature, history, democracy, fantasy, and contemporary social issues.

Sessions are streamed live from the Sydney Writers’ Festival and screened at the Wangaratta Library during the festival period.

All screenings are free to attend. See full program at www.wangaratta.vic.gov.au/Community/Whats-On/Sydney-Writers-Festival
