Authors in Conversation: Wayne Marshall and Michael Winkler

Wangaratta readers will have the chance to hear from two recognised Australian writers when Wayne Marshall and Michael Winkler appear in conversation at Wangaratta Library this month.

The author talk will be hosted by Liz Long from Edgars Books & News and will explore the authors’ latest books, writing processes and literary careers.

Wayne Marshall is the author of the debut novel Henry Goes Bush. His short story collection Shirl was shortlisted for a Victorian Premier’s Literary Award.

Michael Winkler is the author of Griefdogg and the Miles Franklin-shortlisted novel Grimmish. He is also a Calibre Award winner, essayist, and critic.

The event will be held at Wangaratta Library, 21 Docker Street, on Friday 21 August at 10.30am.
