The Oxley Reserve was formed in 1865 and is a unique 47 hectare mix of bush land and cleared areas, backing onto the King River.
The Reserve is used for recreational and equestrian activities with a full size cross country course and horse yards. It also has an oval, tennis courts and a fully fenced new playground. There are renovated clubrooms with toilets and showers. Camping is permitted with unpowered sites, camp kitchen and dump point available.
The Reserve is the perfect place to relax and unwind in a natural bush setting. A beautiful spot for family picnics, bushwalking and self guided sport and recreational activities. It is also pet friendly.

The upper terrace (10 hectares) is where the majority of facilities are located on sandy well drained soil and is usable all year round. The lower area is a flood plain, and access may be restricted depending on conditions.
