The Historic Milawa Hall, built by Carl Schulz in 1889 was recently renovated and given a new lease of life, with a fresh coat of paint, new floors and ceilings, more up to date lighting and split systems installed throughout and new public Toilet facilities.
It has a fully functioning and registered caterer’s kitchen and is used by the community for Markets, Dances, Trivia Nights, Birthdays, Weddings and Funerals.
A dedicated group of volunteers, part of the Milawa Hall & Park Special Committee, organizes the annual Carols in the Park and collaborates with the Oxley Residents Association to host the Australia Day event in their air-conditioned space on January 26th each year.
