The Friends of the Wangaratta Art Gallery invite you to their upcoming live art auction, on Friday 10 November, where you can purchase a stunning piece by a local artist and support the Wangaratta Art Gallery at the same time.

This exciting event promises an enchanting evening complete with white gloved art handlers, bubbles, and canapés. Over 25 well-known and talented local artists have generously donated their work to be auctioned on the night. You'll have the chance to bid on a diverse range of artworks, spanning various mediums such as painting, works on paper, textiles, and small sculpture.

All proceeds from the event will support the Gallery's efforts to acquire new works for its collection, purchase essential equipment, and provide an annual Student Art Award to a local final year school student with potential for a career in art.

Whether you're searching for art to grace your walls, enhance your garden, or wear as a unique accessory, you'll find something special at this live art auction.

Tickets to the auction are on sale now and include canapés and a drink on arrival. Additional drinks can be purchased at the bar.
