Rural City of Wangaratta has confirmed its staged exit from direct Aged Care services.

The Rural City of Wangaratta is inviting local community groups, clubs, businesses, and event organisers to submit an Expression of Interest to be part of its 2026–27 Summer Events Program.
Events and activities scheduled between 1 December 2026 and 28 February 2027 can be considered for inclusion in the program, which will showcase what is happening across the municipality during the summer months.
From one-off events and sporting activities to regular hobby groups and community catchups, organisers of a wide range of activities are encouraged to express their interest. Listing an eligible event in the digital program is free, with additional paid advertising opportunities also available.

The digital program will be available on Council’s website, providing residents and visitors with a central place to discover events and activities happening across Wangaratta throughout summer.
