Carboor & Whorouly South Road Reconstruction

Cooks Earthmoving Laser Landforming Pty Ltd are undertaking works to upgrade the existing intersection and widening the road with asphalt and spray seal. The intersection is situated on the curve of the Carboor-Whorouly Road. The intersection is being upgraded by implementing a 90-degree intersection to improve sightlines and eliminate safety risks for road users. 

In addition to the intersection works, a cattle underpass is being installed by adjacent property owners, the installation of the underpass is intended to improve public safety by removing road hazards, and create a safer work environment for the property owners.

Works commenced October 2024 and are likely to be completed in September 2025.
