Rural City of Wangaratta in partnership with Greenshoot Consulting and Inland Rail is pleased to launch an exciting opportunity for local, emerging, and mid-career artists with a Heritage Interpretation works at the Wangaratta Railway Stations Precinct.
As part of upgrades to the Wangaratta Railway Station Precinct, Inland Rail is inviting the community to get involved and join us for a workshop and drop-in session.
The project team is keen to understand more about the significant stories surrounding the station precinct so come share your thoughts and hear more about the heritage interpretation works at the station precinct, which will be considered for the commission of multiple public artworks at the Wangaratta Railway Station Precinct.
The commission is part of the Heritage Interpretation works at the station and include three(3) separate artwork opportunities. The opportunities are as follows:
In addition to the workshop, a drop-in session will also be hosted on Tuesday 28 May from 12-2pm at the Wangaratta Performing Arts & Convention Centre.
