Margaret Hickey is an award-winning author and playwright from Northeast Victoria.  She has a PhD in Creative Writing and is deeply interested in rural lives and communities.

She is author of the bestselling crime series featuring Detective Mark Ariti, including Cutters End, Stone Town and Broken Bay, as well as the gripping thriller, The Creeper.
