SITHFAB025 Prepare and serve espresso coffee

Come and learn the art of crafting excellent espresso coffees with our Barista course!

This unit covers everything you need to know to extract and serve delicious espresso beverages using commercial espresso machines and grinders.

Perfect for cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs, function, and event venues, this course is designed for espresso machine operators who work independently with minimal supervision.

To be able to enrol in this course you must complete the SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety course. We also run this course and you can find out our next available course sessions on Food safety - The Centre For Continuing Education Inc.

You'll learn to recommend coffee beverages to customers, select and grind coffee beans, and prepare and create various espresso coffees. Plus, you'll master the use, maintenance, and cleaning of espresso machines and grinders, with any complex repairs handled by specialist technicians.
