Oxley Recreation Reserve

The Oxley Reserve was formed in 1865 and is a unique 47 hectare mix of bush land and cleared areas, backing onto the King River. 

The Reserve is used for swimming, dog walking, bike riding, kayaking, fishing, camping and equestrian activities and has a full size cross country course, horse yards and dressage arenas. It has one tennis court and a fully fenced playground. 

There are renovated clubrooms with kitchen facilities, toilets and 2 shower blocks, which can be hired through our bookings officer.

Camping is very popular and there is always a hot shower, electric BBQs and a camp kitchen available for use. Payment is made via our honesty box system or EFT. 

This Reserve is the base for 3 groups, Moyhu Pony Club, Working Equitation North East Victoria and the North East Tracking and Scent Club.
