STAND together to make a safer, stronger community

Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported in our community. Harmful behaviours don’t have to be ignored - with the right tools, we can all make a difference.

STAND (Speak. Take Action. Notice. Disrupt.) is a FREE, interactive 2-hour community event designed to empower people with the confidence and practical strategies to respond to harmful behaviours in safe, respectful, and effective ways.

Together, we will:

• Understand why noticing and responding matters
• Recognise early signs of harmful behaviour
• Practice safe and respectful ways to “call out” or “call in” behaviour
• Build strategies to support others and strengthen community safety

This is not a lecture - it’s a hands-on, engaging session that encourages reflection, conversation, and collaboration. You’ll leave with realistic strategies you can use in everyday situations to help create a safer, more connected community.
