The Draft Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy has been developed in response to the rapidly changing waste management environment, and the legislative and policy framework changes.
This Strategy will set the direction for the development and delivery of waste management and resource recovery services by the Rural City of Wangaratta up to 2027.
Where do I view the draft policy?
A copy of the draft policy can be downloaded via the link in the 'Related Information' on the right hand side of this webpage.
Copies of documents on public exhibition can also be obtained from the Wangaratta Government Centre.
How do I make my written submission?
By Email: council@wangaratta.vic.gov.au. Please include “Draft Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy” in the subject line.
Mail: PO Box 238, Wangaratta VIC 3676. Please include “Draft Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy” as the reference.
In Person: To Customer Services, Wangaratta Government Centre – Corner Ford and Ovens Street, Wangaratta. Please include “Draft Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy” as the reference to your submission.
Submissions will be received up to 5pm on Friday 1 December 2023.
