Road reconstruction works commenced in McCall Lane on 29 April 2024. The project involves widening the road, sealing with asphalt and constructing kerb and channel both sides. Two grated junction pits will be converted to side entry pits and a small section of the footpath in Orkney Street will be reconstructed.
Works are expected to be complete by mid June 2024, subject to weather conditions.
