The Arts and Culture Advisory Committee is a community representative panel of individuals who share a passion for arts, culture, heritage, and events and provide advice to Council on these services.
The committee is made up of 10 skilled community members, as well as Councillors Dave Fuller and Alison Winters, who hold the Arts and Culture portfolio.
Membership terms are three years, with each member eligible for nomination to serve up to two consecutive terms.
The Arts and Culture Advisory Committee (ACAC) brings together members with diverse skills, professional backgrounds, and expertise in arts, culture, heritage, events management and promotion, tourism development, and business.
The committee supports the growth of creative and cultural services and contributes to placemaking across regional communities through cultural and creative initiatives. Members provide valuable insight to assist with planning, strategic decision-making, and the ongoing success of Council’s arts and cultural services.
Committee membership is periodically reviewed in line with Council processes.
