Meet the author – Kylie Ladd

Wangaratta Library is thrilled to welcome acclaimed author and psychologist Kylie Ladd, who will visit to discuss her latest novel, The Mix Up. The event continues the Library’s popular series featuring celebrated writers.

Kylie Ladd is the author of seven novels, published both in Australia and overseas. She has also co-edited and co-authored two non-fiction books. Her fifth novel, The Way Back, is currently in development for film. Kylie holds a PhD in neuropsychology, working two days a week as a consultant in the field of early dementia diagnosis.

Her latest novel, The Mix Up, delves into the emotional and psychological turmoil of two families who discover an IVF error has led them to raise each other’s child. As they navigate the shocking revelation, they must determine what family truly means and where their children truly belong.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear Kylie Ladd share insights into her writing process, the inspiration behind The Mix Up, and the themes of identity, family, and resilience explored in the novel.
