How to get involved

The Heartbeat Framework

The Heartbeat Framework was presented to the community in November 2020. It is the Framework for how the Grit and Resilience Program will support the community to deliver activities that aim to improve community connection and inclusion, and to strengthen community support for positive mental health and wellbeing.

Under the Heartbeat Framework, the Grit and Resilience team will be connecting with the community every three months to talk about what’s happening with the program activities and how to get involved.

The first Heartbeat took place in July 2021. We had some great conversations with our community about the activities in our Action Plans, many of which are now underway.

Heartbeat #2 is scheduled for Thursday 11 November 2021, 5:30-7:30pm at Wangaratta Rovers Football/Netball Club Rooms.

The November Heartbeat will be an opportunity for the community members who are working in partnership on Grit and Resilience activities to celebrate and share the progress they’ve made over the past couple of months.

This event is also open to any interested community members who would like to hear about Grit and Resilience activities from those involved and to find something they would like to be a part of or start-up.

The event will be held in-line with the current COVID-19 provisions, bookings are essential.
