IT Support Officer

Full Time
$59,498.40 pa + super

Are you a skilled and motivated IT professional? Do you have experience in supporting desktop, server and network systems?

We have an exciting opening for an IT Support Officer looking to advance their career in or join local government.  The IT support officer will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line business support to users including hardware, software and telecommunications issues.

Key areas of responsibility for this this position include:

- Level 2 support and escalation to level 3 support where required
- IT equipment purchasing, leasing and evaluation.
- Printer and telecommunications management

Maintenance Worker

Maintenance Worker
Full Time
Temporary 3 month contract
$1,066 per week + super

We are looking for an experienced and motivated maintenance worker to join our Field Services Unit to provide quality maintenance of road related infrastructure, including sealed and gravel pavements, bridges, culverts, drainage systems, signs, roadside furniture, roadside vegetation and shared paths.  This position is primarily a team support role and are required to operate a variety of plant and equipment and undertake labouring duties.

The successful applicant will hold a Certificate III in Civil Construction and/or will have experience in road maintenance and construction. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and to work cooperatively as part of a team is essential.  A current driver licence (endorsed Medium Rigid), Front End Loader/Backhoe, Chainsaw Operation (trim & cross-cut), relevant traffic management/control, First Aid Level 2 certificates and OHS Construction Industry Induction card are preferred.

Manager - People & Governance

Support Officer - Planning & Building

We are looking for a person who is friendly, has a great smile and backs this up with exceptional customer service skills.

The Development Services Directorate is a busy team.  We deal with a variety of planning and building matters and need a person who can welcome and assist our customers in what is often a complex environment.  Your communication skills, customer service knowledge and friendly disposition are more important than your knowledge of planning and building as full training will be given.

We are focused on supporting and developing our staff so they can deliver great customer service.  Council is centrally located within the Wangaratta CBD so close to all those facilities that you want to use before, during and after work with a lively social club making it a place that feels like home!
