NAIDOC Week – Bangerang Community Day

To celebrate NAIDOC Week everyone is invited to a free family fun day including:

  • Welcome to Country
  • Damanmu Dance Crew
  • Bangerang language, astronomy and cultural artefacts
  • Traditional woodworking and weaving workshops
  • Bitja Woka film screening
  • Animals of Oz wildlife display
  • Kids art and games
  • Face painting
  • Free lunch

This event is a partnership between Bangerang Aboriginal Corporation, Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Education, Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation and Rural City of Wangaratta supported by funds from the Australian Government’s National Indigenous Australians Agency
