Immunisations

Council's Environmental Health team runs a monthly free immunisation session for all vaccines on the National Immunisation Program.

The sessions are held in the Memorial Hall at the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre in Ford Street, Wangaratta on the following Tuesdays from 9.00am - 10.30am.

All parents need to bring their child's Childhood Record Book and medicare card.  There is no need to make an appointment, simply turn up.  All people being immunised are asked to stay 15 minutes after immunisation. Influenza is also offered on a fee for service basis.

Workplace influenza vaccinations

Council operates a workplace immunisation program on a fee for service basis.  Currently the only vaccination provided to workplaces on this basis is the Influenza vaccine.  The immunisations can be provided within the workplace or it can be arranged to have your staff attend Council's monthly sessions.

Immunisation history

To receive your immunisation history Council’s Environmental Health team will need your name (maiden name if married) and date of birth. We also need contact details such as phone number and email address if you want your history emailed. Council only has the immunisation history from Council run immunisation sessions, so if vaccinations occurred at a doctor’s clinic or at a different Council you will need to speak with them.
