High Country Library collection services will be temporarily interrupted from Monday 17 October 2022.

This interruption will affect interlibrary loans, where items are borrowed from libraries outside the High Country Library Network, and will affect the wider Libraries Victoria consortium.

Public Libraries Victoria is required to move to a new state-wide courier service, with the transition expected to take place over upcoming months.  This will impact delivery times through the Libraries Victoria interlibrary loan service.

Items from within the High Country Library Network will be unaffected by these changes, however items from outside the network will be unable to be placed on hold from Monday 17 October 2022.

Wangaratta Library remains open and with a healthy 127,114 items available for loan through the High Country Library Network, as well as a recently enhanced e-Resources collections, there is much to read, view and borrow!

Library users can continue to visit neighbouring library services in person and borrow resources directly from those libraries.

Wangaratta Library thanks you for your understanding during this period of transition. If you have any questions please Library staff on 5721 2366 or email library@wangaratta.vic.gov.au
