Youth Action Plan
The Rural City of Wangaratta is currently developing a Youth Action Plan to guide its work with young people living within the municipality for the next three years.
The Youth Action Plan will draw its actions from the recent Youth Wellbeing Survey completed by over 1,400 young people and discussions with key stakeholders working in the youth space. These actions will fall under four key pillars:
- Places & Spaces (services, youth friendly spaces, infrastructure)
- Health ( Physical/ Mental health, other key health issues raised in wellbeing report)
- Life (resilience, life skills, employment, education)
- Communication & Connections (making our young people more connected to their community, local support groups / sports clubs etc.)
To complete the final piece of the puzzle we are seeking input from young people (ages 12 - 25) about what would make Wangaratta a great place to live as a young person. We’ve developed a 5 minute survey to hear what you have to say…click on the link below to complete it.
The survey closes Sunday 7 July 2019.
