Wangaratta Winter Fest is Coming
Wangaratta’s Big W Car Park and Ford Street will be transformed into a winter wonderland, for not one, but two nights this August.
A synthetic ice skating rink, ferris wheel, giant inflatable toboggan slide and snow effects will bring Wangaratta’s winter to life like never before.
The festival will also feature our newest events team member, an as-yet unnamed yeti, that has been spotted throughout Wangaratta in preparation for the ice-cold event.
There’ll be a beer garden, local food and wine and live music on both days by some of our best local performers.
There will also be a winter themed market with over 60 stalls.
Local businesses including 3NE/Edge FM, Wangaratta Motor Group, Big W and Garry Nash and Co have got right behind the event and will feature in promotional videos with the yeti on council’s Facebook.
Over the two days there will also be a chance to give back, with a drop-off point for winter coats and blankets over the two days of the event.
