Winterfest is coming!

We are transforming the Holy Trinity Cathedral Grounds into a magical winter wonderland!

Delight in the magic of winter with lights, art, and action!

Enjoy entertainment and activities, food and drinks! From face painting and roller skating there will be so much on offer! Dance along to local performances or zoom down a breezy toboggan ride! Round up your family and friends, grab a beanie and come celebrate all that makes winter wonderful!

There are roving street performers from 4.30pm – 9pm, including stilt walkers and bubble tonic.

 

Attractions

There will be wonderful activities for the whole family to enjoy!

Community drumming sessions, a hip-hop workshop from Indigenous Outreach Projects, street performers, roller skating, jumping castles and hair braiding!

Did we mention tobogganing?!

There will also be face painting and a photo booth!

 

Food and Drink vendors

You can expect a wide variety of food vans from warming beverages, sticky sweet treats, comfort food like pizza and brisket as well as alcohol vendors.

  • King Valley Popcorn – snow ball fluffy floss and chilli popcorn
  • Wicked Catering – chili con carn topped baked potato
  • The Happy Wanderer – spiced white hot chocolate and winter themed cupcakes
  • Bees Knees – sicilian orange hot chocolate and mint hot chocolate
  • Wood Fire Desire – pizza
  • Max’s BBQ
  • Little Mix Cocktail Van – mocktails until 4pm, then alcoholic drinks including hot chocolates with spiced rum or bourbon and mulled wine, and toasted marshmallows
  • Pizzini Wine – wine cocktails
  • King River Brewing - beer

 

Vendors will all be decorating their stalls and vans in a winter theme. On entry, every person will be given a raffle ticket.  Each vendor will have a jar on their counter.  People put their tickets in the jar of the vendor they think has the best decorations.  The winning vendor will have priority access to all Rural City of Wangaratta events and will have their site fees covered for 12 months!

 

Coat Drive

Do you have spare coats, sleeping bags or blankets? Bring them along to Winterfest where we are collecting these items for members of our community who are doing it tough. We are after good quality items in all sizes.

Community groups including LINE and VACCA will also have stalls.

  • No BYO Alcohol
  • No smoking, vaping or drugs
  • No glass
  • The Evie charging station will be inaccessible during the duration of Winterfest.
