Youth Council Environmental Pledge

The 2020 Youth Council Environmental Group have collaborated with Sustainable King Valley as well as Wangaratta Landcare and Sustainability to develop a pledge for the Wangaratta community to partake in.

The Environmental Awareness Pledge consists of 13 items for families and individuals to follow, aiming to raise awareness for waste reduction, and provide people with a series of small contributions they can make to assist in reducing waste.

The group hope to make Wangaratta an environmentally friendly community by making them aware of the choices they make and highlighting other alternatives or reminders of a better practice.

They are hoping individuals will take  this on board, make these small adjustments, get into better habits within their lives, which will ultimately contribute to large-scale change.
