Accessible Parking and Toilets

Parking

Residents choosing to park in the CBD have timed or untimed options.

Most of the spaces in the city centre are metered and will cost residents $1 per hour to park.

Residents can buy parking permits for all day undercover or outdoor parking in designated areas. Costs per year are $60 for an outdoor pass and $100 for an undercover pass.

Contact Council’s Customer Service team on 03 5722 0888 to find out more information or visit the link below.

The Rural City of Wangaratta has also produced the Wangaratta Easy Parking Guide.

Disabled drivers can apply for permits for parking around the city.

Category one (blue holders) and category two (green holders) can park for twice as long as indicated upon payment of the initial parking fee.

Category one (blue holders) can also park in reserved disability parking bays displaying the International Symbol of Access.
