See below for a list of current roadworks taking place around the municipality.
Due to the upgrading of stormwater infrastructure on Appin Street between Langlands Street and Irwin Avenue there will be a half road closure on Tuesday 14 January followed by a full road closure closure on Wednesday 15 January.
Traffic management including Stop Go personnel will be in place throughout all works in conjunction with approved traffic management plans.
Drainage works will be commencing on Wednesday 22 January. There will be machinery on the road with appropriate speed restrictions in place from 7.30am-4.30pm daily. Signage will be in place.
Re-sheeting works will commence on Wednesday 22 January and run for two days. Speed restrictions will apply with appropriate signage in place.
Re-sheeting works will be taking place on Nearys Lane on a 1.3km stretch of road from the Murmungee Hall. Works will take place from 7.00am-3.30pm. Speed restrictions and signage will be in place.
Re-sheeting works will begin on Tuesday 28 January and run for a one week period. Speed restrictions will apply with traffic management signage in place.
Works on Phillipson Street bridge will begin on Wednesday 29 January 2020. Beaching works will be taking place on the southern side of the bridge. The footpath under the bridge will be closed for 5 days with detours in place.
Re-sheeting works will be taking place on Lee Morrison Rd Murmungee between Chinamans Flat Rd and Buckland Gap Rd. Speed restrictions and appropriate signage will be in place.
Re-sheeting works will commence on Tuesday 3 March. Speed restrictions will be in place with appropriate traffic management in place.
