Updates will be provided as works progress.
From Tuesday 28 January - Friday 14 February the west bound lane on Cusack Street will be closed. Once this work is complete the east bound lane will be closed for a three week period.
Mackay Street is closed at Cusack Street.
There are minor delays in the area with alternate routes in place. There is a speed restriction to 40 km/hr and there is signage and traffic management in place.
Works to Norton street have begun and will be in progress for the next 5 months. Motorists heading away from the CBD are advised to use Ovens Street and Roy Street to access the overpass.
Council wish to advise community members that there will be significant disruptions at the Ovens and Docker Street roundabout due to water main works. Sections of the roundabout will be closed off to the traffic while the works are under way. Traffic management and signage will be in place during the works but if possible advise community members if possible to avoid the area.
