Mind and Body

Tai Chi | January 8, 15, 22

When: Tuesdays | January 8, 15, 22

Time: 7am - 8am

Venue: King George V Gardens

Wake up with us on Tuesday mornings with Tai Chi. Sessions include warm-up exercises, movement mediation for calming the mind and body strengthening. Beginners welcome.

Body Balance | January 9, 16, 23

When: Wednesdays | January 9, 16, 23

Time: 7am - 8am

Venue: King George V Gardens

Stretch your soul on Wednesday mornings throughout January with a yoga-influenced exercise sequence. Set to uplifting music, Body Balance creates harmony between breath and movement, action and relaxation, awareness and concentration.

End your week with a blend of yoga and pilates that will stretch the body, calm the mind, and improve postural and breathing habits. Not suitable for pregnant women.

Croquet | January 8, 15, 22

Time: 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Venue: Apex Park, Wangaratta

Tuesday evenings in summer are for croquet. Whatever your age or skill, croquet will help keep your mind sharp and your body active. A fun, relaxed game for all ages.

Ultimate Frisbee | January 9, 16, 23

When: Wednesdays | January 9, 16, 23 

Time: 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Venue: Apex Park, Wangaratta

Have you seen YouTube videos of Ultimate Frisbee? If not, check them out to get an idea of this fast-paced, non-contact team sport that combines elements of netball and touch rugby. Simple to learn and fun to play.

A valuable physical and mental discipline that uses self-defense techniques to train the mind, body and spirit to act as one.
