Planning an Event

All events conducted on public land in the Rural City of Wangaratta must be managed in a safe and equitable manner.

Council has developed the Event Application Guidelines (see below) to assist event organisers to manage and coordinate events and festivals within the municipality.

The information is provided to ensure that all of Council’s requirements are met with regards to approvals, use of public land, public safety, traffic management, risk management and setup and cleanup.
